Make it! Mini German pancakes (by popular demand)

I cannot believe how many of my poor friends do not know how to make German pancakes!! It makes me so sad because they are seriously one of the yummiest breakfasts on the planet. Someone taught me how to make them when I was 12, so that puts it as the first thing I ever really learned to bake.

Super easy.
Oven at 400'
If you use a 9x13 pan, pop a few tablespoons of butter in it and put in the oven to melt butter.
If with a muffin tin: mix 6 eggs, 1cup skim milk 1cup all purpose flour, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/4 c melted butter. (omit the butter in the mix if using the 9x13 method)
Mix and pour into either the pan or tin.
I think they made about 12-18 minis, scooping the mix using a 1/4 c measuring cup.
Bake uncovered for 15 minutes (20 mins for the 9x13).

They puff up SUPER big and you want to take them out while puffed and a hint of golden to them, but obviously not burnt. Then the collapse and with the minis, you can use it like a little bowl!! How cute is that?

Not counting toppings, the 9x13 makes 8 "pancakes" at 172 cals each
and the minis are 76 calories apiece (assuming you were able to get 18 out of the mix).
Note: you better believe this recipe is on my list to be chobani'd... I'll be sure to try it out soon and tell you how it goes!

Top with syrup, powdered sugar, berries and bananas, whatever.

No go!!!! Make it for Saturday breakfast! Your roommates, family, friends with thank you :)

just passed the point of puffed perfection
And sinking down...
mmm!
